Located
on the west edge of downtown Denver, the Pepsi Center
is the home of the 1996 NHL Stanley Cup Champion
Colorado Avalanche and the NBA’s Denver Nuggets.
The facility also hosts other events, such as ice shows,
concerts, college and high school tournaments, political
and civic functions.
The 19,000-seat venue is comprised of 697,000 SF
with 95 luxury suites, along with a club level
lounge and restaurant. The suites are located on
two levels with upgraded club level seating on
a separate concourse. The facility also has a basketball
practice court used by the Nuggets when the arena
is in hockey configuration.
Western States Fire Protection provided the design,
fabrication and installation of numerous wet and
dry pipe sprinkler systems, fire pump, and standpipes
throughout 675,000 square foot.
